LG GX unveiled with 5.5-inch HD display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset

LG has introduced a new large-screen Android smartphone, called the LG GX. Initially launched for the Korean market, the new LG smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display, Android Jelly Bean (version not specified) and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor.

The LG GX measures 150.6 x 76.1 x 9.2 mm and weighs around 167 grams. It sports a 13MP rear camera and 2.1MP front camera, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage and a 3,140 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the LG GX supports 3G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC.

The new LG smartphone has a lot of features borrowed from the recently launched G2, such as KnockOn locking and unlocking gesture and Guest Mode privacy feature. It also features Q Remote for streaming content to TV or set top box over Wi-Fi. Other popular features include QSlide, QuickMemo and Qtranslator. Also, check out our detailed LG G2 Review
