Syrian hackers target Skype's social media accounts over 'spying'

A hacker staff referred to as the Syrian Digital Military has it seems that hacked into the Fb, Twitter and legitimate weblog of Skype.

The crew posted messages to Skype’s public profiles, alleging that Skype and Microsoft secret agent on their customers.

They posted two messages throughout Skype’s debts. The primary, directed at Skype itself, learn merely, "Cease spying on folks!"

The opposite asserted that Microsoft displays customers emails thru outlook and hotmail bills and is "promoting the info to the governments."

Harmless unless confirmed hacked

Skype seems to have regained keep an eye on of its money owed, because the messages have considering the fact that been deleted. However they continue to be on the SEA’s Twitter.

The Syrian Electronic Army has launched several cyber attacks against major institutions in the last year, including the BBC’s weather account, The New York Times, and Twitter itself.
